The Monti Lessini Durello DOC wine is one of the types of wine included in the denomination Monti Lessini DOC, a DOC of the Veneto region. Lessini Durello is a wine produced both in the still version, but above all in the Sparkling versions: the Charmat Method and the Classic Method. Its main characteristic is its strong minerality and marked acidity. The organoleptic characteristics of Monti Lessini Durello DOC provide for a more or less intense straw yellow colour. The olfactory profile of Monti Lessini Durello DOC wine is slightly fruity, mineral and on the palate it is dry, full-bodied, sapid, slightly acidic.
The Lessini Durello is a sparkling wine excellent as an aperitif or as a pairing with the typical salami of the area: the Sopressa of Brenton (salami produced in the Brenton suburb in the municipality of Roncà), the dry- cured ham of Soave, Monte Veronese cheese but also fish, pasta and white meat based dishes.
